Question 1

Do I really just… text?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Text (844) 482-4881 like you'd text a client about her fill. "Classic set $120," "suite rent $600," "what do I owe?" — Toozi logs it, sorts it, and answers. No app, no login.

Question 2

What can a lash tech write off?

Accepted Answer

Lash trays, adhesive, tape, primer, tweezers, your lash bed and lamp, suite or booth rent, your certification and continuing education, booking software like Booksy or Square, and the business share of your phone. Toozi sorts each one for Schedule C.

Question 3

Square and Booksy already track my sales. Why do I need this?

Accepted Answer

They see the payment, not the business. Toozi puts your sales next to your trays, rent, and mileage, keeps the quarterly estimate current, and files the return. Connect your bank and the deposits flow in automatically.

Question 4

How do deposits work for taxes?

Accepted Answer

A deposit is income when it hits your account, even if the appointment is next month. Toozi logs it when you text it or when it lands in your bank, so you're never surprised in April.

Question 5

I'm mobile and drive to clients. Can I deduct miles?

Accepted Answer

Business miles between client appointments are deductible at the IRS standard rate. Text "drove 14 miles to Jada" and Toozi logs it. Trips from home to your first appointment usually don't count unless your home is your principal place of business.

Question 6

How is that different from Keeper or QuickBooks?

Accepted Answer

Keeper is built around finding write-offs after the fact. QuickBooks makes you sit at a computer and learn software. Toozi keeps your sets, supplies, and rent current from your phone, between clients.

Question 7

Is my financial data safe?

Accepted Answer

256-bit AES encryption at rest and in transit, bank connections through Plaid (same infrastructure as Venmo), and payments through Stripe — your card data never touches our servers.

Question 8

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. No contract, no cancellation fee. Text "cancel" and you're done — and you can export your books first.

Run your lash business from one text thread.

Have Toozi text you first
