Toozi is a Shopify app. Install it on your store and every order comes through with its line items and the tax Shopify collected, so your store has clean books without you exporting a thing. Ask about it by text like any other part of your business.
How to connect
- Install Toozi from your Shopify admin (the app is billed through Shopify).
- Approve the app permissions; Toozi registers for new-order updates and imports your recent orders.
- Open Connections in the Toozi app once to confirm the store is linked to your account.
- Text "how are store sales this month?" and get the number for the store alone.
What Toozi does with it
- Imports orders with items, totals, and tax lines, and keeps them updated as new orders come in.
- Keeps store income in its own set of books, separate from your services or other hustles, at the same price.
- Tracks sales tax collected by state so filing time is a lookup, not a spreadsheet.
- Matches Shopify payouts arriving in your linked bank to the orders so nothing is counted twice.
Good to know
- Billing for the Shopify app runs through Shopify (about $20 a month or $220 a year as of 2026); it is separate from the $49 Toozi plan.
- Shopify only: Etsy, Amazon, and other marketplaces are not synced yet. Their deposits still arrive through your linked bank.

Questions
Does Toozi handle Shopify sales tax?
It tracks what Shopify collected per order and totals it by state so you know what to remit. Shopify Tax still does the collecting at checkout.
I sell on Shopify and do services on the side. One account?
Yes. The store gets its own books and its own Schedule C at tax time; your services get theirs. Same text thread, same price.
What happens to refunds?
Refunded and cancelled orders come through on the next sync and are reflected in your income and tax totals.
Tax is a doozy.
